Agentic, communal, and spiritual traits are related to the semantic representation of written narratives of positive and negative life events

Abstract

This study investigates how agentic, communal, and spiritual traits are associated with the semantic representation of adolescents’ written narratives of life events. Using computational latent semantic analysis, significant relationships were found between character traits and the semantic patterns in narrative descriptions.
