Abstract

This doctoral thesis explores how to define and measure self-reported well-being, focusing on theoretical, empirical, and methodological perspectives. It emphasizes the complementarity of harmony in life and satisfaction with life, develops the Harmony in Life Scale, and introduces semantic measures using natural language processing.
